Frequently Asked Questions for Weddings
Do you supply designer coffee table albums?
My packages include designer coffee table albums in varying sizes, depending on the package selected. However, all packages are flexible and can be custom built to you specifications.
Who chooses the images for the album?
The wedding couple chooses the images. I will, however, guide you to ensure the flow of the album in order to showcase the day’s events in chronological order.
What about seating and a meal for the photographer/s?
We spend more than 8 hours photographing your wedding and therefore require a meal and refreshments. Seating is important in order to have a dedicated area to store equipment in a manner that is easily accessible. Being able to take a 5 minute refreshment break ensures that I am always performing at my best.
In the event that you are unable to supply a meal please communicate this in advance in order that alternate arrangements can be made.
Do you cater for weddings of different cultures?
Indeed. I am experienced in show-casing the beauty of darker skin tones on photographs. I have photographed many weddings of varying cultures.
I am able to cover any type of wedding in a manner that respects religions and traditions.
Are you flexible with regards to 2 / multiple day events?
My standard packages are designed for 1 day events, however, I do cover 2 / multiple day events as I am flexible.
We can discuss your requirements and together prepare a package for your multi day celebrations that will suit you.
How do I secure my booking?
A 50% booking fee is required to secure my services. The balance is payable 5 days prior to the wedding unless prior arrangements have been made.
Bookings are confirmed on receipt of a signed contract and proof of payment.
Do you work with an assistant / second photographer?
I normally shoot alone to assist in minimising costs, however, if you require a second photographer I do make use of Professional Associated Photographers to assist me.
A second photographer is my preference as it allows better coverage of your wedding and ensures that I capture all those WOW moments without missing any “traditional” shots.
What kind of equipment do you use? What about a back-up camera?
I make use of Canon’s Professional Camera Bodies along with the finest quality Canon L lenses. I use the Canon 5Diii as a main body and the Canon 7D as a back-up.
I have an assortment of lenses to cater for different types of shots and lighting conditions. Light-stands, portable lights, reflectors, studio lights etc. are used to ensure that all lighting conditions are catered for and breath-taking images are captured.
