Photography Training – Introduction to PHOTOGRAPHY going from ZERO to HERO
We are just as excited as you are, about our first training class scheduled in the tropical Mozambique. We promise to make it a three-day event filled with lots of fun, laughter and of course learning photography! The information listed below will answer most of your questions and provide you with all the info regarding the training.

Is this just another photographic workshop?
No, this is a three-day training course where all the aspects of basic photography will be presented. You will also do practical assignments as we progress trough the course syllabus.
What camera equipment must I take along?
Your DSLR, lenses, memory cards, tripod, batteries, charger and flash (if you have one).
When will training start in the morning?
Classes will commence from 08H00, with a brunch break at 10h00 and then we stop at 16:00 daily.
Besides the training, what is included in the price?
Travelling, Accommodation, Meals.
- Travelling – We all travel together in a 16-seater bus, leaving Pretoria at 05:00 on Wednesday 9 November and return on Sunday 13 November. Once at Praia do Bilene you can purchase refreshments before crossing the lake by boat to the resort Leste-no-Eden
- Meals – The resort provides a brunch and dinner every day. Just before class there will be something to snack on before brunch at 10h00. Dinner will be at 18h00 every evening.
- Accommodation – It is hot and humid. A backpacker setup therefore a sleeping bag/sheet and your own cushion can be taken along. (There are 2 chalets to sleep in with various rooms. Chalet 1 sleeps 7 and Chalet 2 sleeps 7. Each chalet has a bathroom with shower and bath. It is advised to take along anti-mossy repellant and sunblock.
Can refreshments be purchased at the resort?
Yes, 2M beer, R&R (Famous Rum & Raspberry) and soft drinks will be available at a cash bar.
Where do we exchange money?
Money is exchanged before the border, at decent exchange rates.
When must payment take place?
Payment must happen asap to secure our place at the resort. A 50% non-refundable booking fee is required by no later than 30 September 2016 to secure your seat, and the remaining balance is due before 1 November 2016. In addition and weather permitting, additional workshops will be presented during the evening, either on a one-on-one or group invitation basis. These workshops are R300 per person and can be booked with us during the training course.
